"On Saturday, May 07, Michael Huang from Grade 11 and Lily Wan from grade 10 represented WUIS in the 6th annual Rocket Science International Swimming Competition held at the oriental sports center in Shanghai.
There were over 900 swimmers there from 37 different schools and swimming programs and over 20 countries. At least 1500 spectators were there supporting their swimmers.

Lily Wan swam in 2 competitions coming in first place in both her heats.  She came in 9th place overall in her age group scoring 25 points for her 2 races.

Michael Huang also won first place in both his competitions and ranked 13th overall in his age group scoring 13.50 points.
Despite having only 2 swimmers in the competition, our swim team scored 38.50 points to come in 26th place overall out of 37 schools and swimming programs, scoring higher than teams with more swimmers.

All our swimmers have worked hard this year in competitions. We are proud of our swim team and how they represented our school in international competitions."
