2020年6月25日，BC国际课程部举行了2020届毕业典礼。12年级的全体师生和家长们共同见证了这一时刻。87位毕业生的成长照片一一闪过，拉开了本次毕业典礼的序幕。三年，已经让他们从一个个青涩懵懂的孩子成长为成熟稳重的少年，并将肩负使命奔向明亮的未来。
2020届毕业生录取保持着良好的水平。87位毕业生共收到519份录取通知书，其中获得了227份世界排名前100大学录取通知书，获得了135份世界排名前50大学录取书，获得了81份世界排名前30大学录取书，累计获得474750加币，176000美元和4000英镑的奖学金。专业分布均匀，涵盖工程、理科、商科、文科、艺术五大专业领域的50多种专业方向。（文末附最新录取详情）
BC国际国际课程校长Mr. Syer向毕业生发表了演讲，回顾了三年时光的点点，他也十分感慨同学们巨大的变化，并给予他们最深厚的祝福。
“My words today reflect just that – the care that I have for you as members of our school community, and as young men and women who have lived through an extraordinary time. You have not only survived a global crisis – you are THRIVING in some of the most challenging circumstances that could possibly have been presented to you. You have grown beyond what your parents and teachers have thought you capable of, which reflects on the incredible resiliency you have developed, the trust you have built within our school, and the support of your parents and families. You have not only succeeded in the most uncertain of times, you have made it incredibly easy for me to find the proper words for this occasion.
我今天的讲话正是发自我的内心——那就是我对你们的关心，无论你们做为学校的一员，还是你们做为经历过非凡时刻的年青人。你们不仅刚刚克服了一场全球性的危机——你们还将经历可能更富有挑战性的环境。现在的你们已经拥有了超越了你的父母和老师们认为你所具备的能力，这意味着你们已经拥有了让人的难以置信的弹性和韧性。你们不仅在最不确定的时期取得了成功，而且让我为这个场合找到合适的词语变得更加容易。
In looking back at your time in the BC Program, a few key highlights stand out. Events such as the Halloween and Winter Parties, Family Days, Water Fights and Mental Health Week activities stand out as positive memories that you and your peers had the opportunity to be involved in and lead. You suggested that BCOS athletics – especially this year’s GIRLS and BOYS championships in basketball, and the Fall Shanghai Youth Leauge Ultimate Frisbee title – as accomplishments that you could be proud of, and that made the school proud of you. You identified your teachers as caring individuals who took the time to get to know you, to learn about your interests, to support your learning and your health and wellbeing and success. But most importantly, you felt as though they respected you as individuals and have done everything in their power to help you get to this point, especially under this year’s unique circumstances.
回顾你们在 BC课程中的学习和生活，有很多经历让人回味无穷。你们经历了各种更富多彩的校园文化活动，如万圣节，冬季研学，家庭日，打水仗以及心理健康周等，你们不仅热情参与还组织领导了其中很多的大型活动，留下的是让人难忘的美好记忆；在BC海外联赛中，男篮和女篮双双夺冠；飞盘队赢得了上海青年秋季联赛的冠军头衔，这些都是你们值得骄傲的成就，学校也为你们感到自豪。你们感激教过你们的老师，因为他们都很关心你们，他们愿意花时间去了解你们以及你们的兴趣爱好，支持你们的学习和以及关注你们的身心健康，最重要的是，你们感受到了被尊重，感受到了老师们尽其所能希望帮助你们成功，尤其是在今年疫情的特殊情况下。
As you receive your diploma today, think about every step you have taken to get here, and how those steps have prepared you. Take your next steps with confidence, clarity, and certainty; this is what you have been walking towards for years, and you are ready to walk the path towards a new adventure. As you step down from the stage today, you will still have thousands of steps to take. Your BC diploma helps to map the path you need take, and is one of many guideposts on your way to post-secondary education and beyond. As you turn on to a new pathway, remember your way back to Jiaoke, and know that can always step onto campus to visit as alumni, as a post-secondary graduate, and to share your experiences with the next group of Sea Otters who have to walk their own pathway.
当你们今天拿到毕业证书时，请考虑一下你们为此所迈出的每一步，以及你们当初是如何做好准备的。希望你们带着自信、目标清晰和并且步履坚定的继续走下去，朝着你们追求的目标，迈向新的学习阶段。当你们今天离开这个舞台时，你们还会有更远的路要走。你们今天所取得的BC课程高中毕业文凭将有助于规划你的未来，是你们即将开始大学生活时所需的学习指南之一。当你们踏上未来的求学之路时，请记记：你们还可以随时回到教科校区，做为校友访问母校，并与下一届的Sea Otters成员们分享你们的经验。”
BC课程部的外教老师Mr. Martin在毕业典礼的演讲中也表达了他对同学们的祝福和期冀。
“I want each and everyone of you to know that the people in this room are proud of you & rooting for you in all future endeavours.
我希望每一个毕业生都知道，并记住，在座所有的人都为你们骄傲，永远为你们的未来加油。
Whatever you are doing, wherever you are, and whomever you are with: remember to be passionate, be open-minded, and kind.
无论你做什么,无论你身在何处，身边站着谁，请都要记得：要保持热情，要豁达，要宽容善良。
These characteristics will help you for almost any situation life presents to you.
这些特点会帮助你应对生活中出现的几乎任何情况，也是生活赠予你们无价的礼物。”
家长代表的发言也是真切感人，站在父母的角度，对辛勤付出培养孩子的各位老师们表达了深深的感谢。
“When we are cheering for our success, we shall always remember to thank all our dear teachers. It is our teachers who have strived for our success. To all of our dear teachers, thank you for the knowledge you have taught us, thank you for the life lessons that you have passed on to us, and thank you for bestowing essentials of both Chinese and Western culture on us. As we are graduating, we will soon go to different places in the world, however, we should always remember our teachers and remember to go back to SUIS Jiaoke to visit our teachers whenever possible. Please always remember to send greetings and best wishes to our teachers, whether in a simple note or an email. As a Chinese idiom goes, “He, who teaches me one day, is my father for life.” We should always be grateful to our kind and respectful teachers!
孩子们，在我们为你们的成功欢呼雀跃时，请记得感谢你们的恩师们，感谢每一位老师，老师们是你们成功背后真正的功臣！感谢老师们教你们知识；感谢老师们教你们做人的道理；感谢老师们教你们中西文化的精髓。毕业了，大家各奔前程，请记得你们的老师，记得常回来看看老师，无论你在何方，记得给老师写个电邮，附上你对老师的祝福。中国有句老话，“一日为师，终身为父”，请永远感恩敬爱老师们！”
我深爱着这所学校，但我更喜欢这所学校里面的人。四年前，我们围着储物室在教室里聊天，吃早餐，大喊着我们的口号“Let’s go otters lets go”这些日子似乎永远不会结束。”
另外一位发言的毕业生Tom也由衷地感谢了老师和同学们，话语中带着浓浓的不舍。
“I want to give thanks to my classmates. I appreciate your love and care for the past 4 years. Whenever I was in plight, you gave me your hands, and made sure I knew we were in it together. It was also because of you, that my English improved. From the bottom of my heart, I wish everyone to become very successful. Who wouldn’t want their high school student to be the next Bill Gates? Personally, I also wish myself to be a great man. If possible, I would like to be the strong shield behind you. I would do everything I can to help every single one of you, whenever you need help. We got each others back, and we are going to be the best graduation class of Jiaoke ever. I wish everyone in this room to own their bright future. People, I will see you at the top！
我想对我的同学们说，真的很感谢你们每个人在教科这四年中对我的照顾。在这四年里你们给我的感觉是，无论何时当我有问题或者困难时，在我身边的人都愿意无私帮助我。是因为有你们在，我的英语水平得到了很大的提升。事实上，我打心底里希望在做的各位以后都是成功人士，谁不希望自己的高中同学是马云呢。当然，就我个人而言我也希望自己今后能成为一个有出息的人。如果可以我希望我能成为你们身后坚强的护盾，在今后的日子里如果有需要帮助的地方可以随时来找我，我会竭尽所能的帮助你们，希望在我们的互帮互助下我们这届毕业生能成为教科有史以来最优秀的一届毕业生。祝我们每个人都有一个美好的未来！江湖见！”
毕业典礼在浓浓的不舍与祝福中结束，那一双双眼中泛起的不舍的泪光，承载着高中生涯难忘而快乐的记忆。未来光明美好，号召着大家勇敢奔赴，我们优秀的毕业生们即将心怀祖国，走向世界，站在世界的舞台上展现他们的风采！祝同学们前程似锦，幸福快乐！
